Mary was born and raised in Minnesota and also spent several years in Colorado. She rediscovered art after working as an elementary school art teacher. Growing up, she had aspirations of becoming an artist, but after college decided to pursue a path in the business world. Mary worked a multitude of jobs over the years, but there was never enough time in her schedule to create artwork. After decades in the corporate world, she decided to dedicate full-time to her artwork. In 2018, she started watercolor painting and has never looked back.

Mary's work explores the beauty of the world around us through colorful landscapes, waterscapes, and the ever-changing skies above us.

Mary lives with her husband in North Dakota.
